Hello New 5th Graders!!

      My name is Mrs. Giaquinta and I'm thrilled to be your fifth grade teacher this year! I hope you have been enjoying your summer vacation and your time off, sleeping in late, playing outside and relaxing! I wanted to let you know a little bit about me before we meet each other on the first day of school! I live in Spotswood with my husband, our golden doodle named Dallas, and our 1 year old son named Jackson. I love to do yoga, garden, read lots of books, and spend time outside. 
       This year will be my ninth year teaching fifth grade, and I could not be more excited! I have so many fun activities planned for us and I can't wait to start our fifth grade adventure together! We will have a fabulous year!
       I graduated from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education and I knew all my life that I wanted to be a teacher. My own teachers taught me that if you work hard, try your best, and have a positive mindset, then you can accomplish all of your dreams. I can't wait to help you accomplish yours! I look forward to meeting all of you on our first day of school!
